Site-assembled units arrive as components and get built up at your location. That works, but it adds three things you have to absorb: more days on site before the cabin is usable, a skilled assembly crew you have to host and supervise, and quality variance because field conditions are never the same as a factory floor. Inside our factory — the production sequence

Every prefabricated portable office cabin we build runs through the same five-stage production sequence. Each stage has its own checkpoints, and a cabin moves to the next stage only after the current one signs off.

Frame fabrication and weld inspection

The structural frame is cut to the size on your drawing, laid out on a fabrication jig, and MIG-welded by our welding team. Each frame joint is visually checked for weld continuity, then key joints are tested for alignment and tolerance. The frame moves to the next stage only after the welding supervisor signs off the inspection sheet.

Wall and roof panel assembly

Insulated sandwich panels are fixed to the frame — PUF, EPS, or glasswool, depending on what's on the order. Wall panels go up first, then the roof panels are positioned with the required slope and gutter line. Fastener count is verified against the drawing before the cladding is closed. The interior shell is now ready for electricals.

Electrical layout and fitting installation

Concealed conduit is laid inside the wall cavities before the inner cladding closes. The MCB and distribution box are mounted on the marked wall. Modular switchboards, sockets, fans, lights, and the AC mounting bracket are installed to the electrical drawing. Every circuit is then continuity-tested with a multimeter, and the MCB trip is verified manually. Any wiring that fails the test gets re-pulled before the next stage starts.

Door, window, and interior finishing

The main door is fitted with hinge alignment checked at the frame; the lock is tested on the open-and-close cycle. Aluminium or MS-framed windows are installed with weather seals pressed into place. The interior wall lining goes up, the false ceiling grid is laid, and vinyl flooring is rolled over the base — all before the painting stage starts.

Final paint and surface treatment

The exterior gets a primer coat followed by two coats of finish paint. Exposed steel surfaces are treated with anti-rust before painting. The interior receives a finish coat. Each cabin then rests for the paint to fully dry — usually 24 to 36 hours — before it moves to the QC inspection bay.

5. Lighting and fan operation test — every fixture switched on under load before sign-off.
6. Door and window operation — full open-close cycle, lock function, and weather seal contact verified.
7. Roof and joint water leak test — water poured on the roof and joints, interior checked dry.
8. Floor and ceiling finish inspection — no lift, no gap, no visible damage anywhere.
9. Paint and surface check — full coverage, drying complete, no touch-up left open.
10. Final dispatch sign-off — both signatures on the checklist; cabin loaded under supervision.

If a cabin fails any of these, it does not leave the factory until it is fixed and re-checked.

Limited site access. Urban infill plots, plant interiors, narrow approach gates, and rooftop installations leave no room for a multi-day assembly crew. A complete unit gets lifted in by crane, set down on the prepared base, and the access road is clear again the same evening.

Site placement and unloading

You arrange the crane and the prepared base — concrete plinth or compacted level surface, depending on what the site allows. Our team supervises the placement and signs off the orientation, doors, and access. One site visit is included in the base price for projects in Bangalore and the NCR region. Once placed, the cabin needs only a power source connection and is operational within four to six hours. Manufacturer warranty terms

Structural defects — frame, panel, joinery — are covered for 12 months from the date of dispatch. Factory-installed electrical fittings carry a 6-month warranty. Mishandling, unauthorised modification, and transit damage are not covered (transit insurance can be arranged through a third party at your request). A genuine defect is fixed by our factory team at our cost — either at site or with a replacement, whichever the case warrants.
