Detailed information about Modular Portable Office
Your team is four people today. You expect eight by the middle of the year. Buying a large fixed-size office now means paying for empty desks for the next six months. A modular portable office solves this — you start with one complete, AC-fitted unit and physically join a second alongside it when the headcount confirms it. No demolition. No construction. One working day to expand.
What is a modular portable office system?
A modular portable office is an MS-frame workspace system made of separate factory-fitted cabin units that connect side by side on your site to form a larger office floor. Each unit works as a complete standalone office. You start with one unit and join a second when your team or budget grows — no construction required.

Two double decker modules positioned side by side — the connection at the shared wall takes two to three hours on site and creates one continuous office floor.
This is different from ordering a large single cabin upfront. The first module is complete and operational from day one — AC point, false ceiling, wiring, and flooring all fitted at our Bangalore factory. The second module connects alongside it when you need the extra space — browse our full portable office range for all build method options. Until then, the money stays in your business.
Module configurations — what your office looks like at one, two, and three units
One module suits a team of three to four. Two modules give you six to eight people — enough to separate working desks from a meeting table in the joined space. Three modules carry ten to fourteen people with room to grow further.

Ground floor layout — six workstations, partition wall, and full electrical fitout in a 240 sq ft module configuration. SAMAN factory-fitted before dispatch.
| Configuration | Floor area | Comfortably fits | Starting price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single floor — 20×12 ft | 240 sq ft | 6–8 people | From Rs 6.50 lakh |
| Single floor — 20×20 ft | 400 sq ft | 10–12 people | From Rs 10.50 lakh |
| Double decker — 20×20 ft | 800 sq ft | 16–20 people | From Rs 18.00 lakh |
| Double decker — 40×20 ft | 1,600 sq ft | 30–40 people | From Rs 25.55 lakh |
| Three-module — 40×24 ft | 2,400+ sq ft | 50+ people | Price on request |
Custom module sizes from 8×10 ft to 12×24 ft. For sites where a straight line does not work, we configure three or more modules in an L-shape.

How two modules connect on the day the second unit arrives
When the second module arrives and is placed alongside the first, your team inside does not stop working. The joining process happens on the exterior and the shared wall — not in the working area of the first module.
The two modules sit at exactly the same floor level. There is no raised threshold between them. When the doorway between the two is fitted — which takes two to three hours — the result is one continuous, level office floor. Not two rooms with a step. Not a corridor between them. One floor.
The connection is made at the shared wall frame — bolted steel-to-steel at the floor beam and roof purlin. The shared wall panel is removed and a standard internal office doorway fitted in its place. The exterior join is sealed with a weather strip. Each module keeps its own MCB board; a cross-connection at the shared wall lets both run from one incoming supply if your site has a single power point.

The interconnecting doorway between two joined modules — level floor, sealed join, and one continuous office space. Connection takes two to three hours on site.
What is factory-fitted in each module before it leaves Bangalore
Every module arrives fitted and tested. Here is what that means for how your office actually works:
The 40mm PUF panel walls keep the interior 8 to 10°C cooler than outside temperature — your team is comfortable without running AC at full load all day. The false ceiling with LED panels gives you a finished-office look and consistent lighting from day one. The AC bracket and wiring are in place — fit your own split unit and it is operational within the hour. Vinyl flooring covers the full internal area — no bare steel, no site-feel underfoot. The steel door with a weather seal locks securely and keeps out dust and rain at the threshold. Two sliding aluminium windows with mosquito mesh allow ventilation without insects. The MCB switchboard has been tested at the factory — four electrical points, individually switched, are ready for your equipment the day the unit is placed.
Each module carries this fitout independently. The first module is fully functional before the second is even ordered.

Every module leaves the Bangalore factory with a tested MCB board, four switched electrical points, and full interior wiring — no site electrician needed.
Start with one module today — add the second when your team reaches eight
Most growing teams know they will need more space. They just do not know exactly when. The modular approach matches how business growth actually works.
Order one module now. When your team reaches six to eight people in that 10×12 unit, order the second. We fabricate and deliver it in 7 to 10 working days. Your first module stays exactly where it is. The second joins alongside it in one working day.
The phased approach means you spend on space only when the headcount confirms it — not when a business plan estimates it.

One module, fully operational for a team of four — when the headcount reaches eight, the second module connects alongside it in one working day.
If your team size is already fixed and you need the full floor area from day one, a prefab portable office arrives as a single, complete built unit and is operational the same day it is placed on your site.
Frequently Asked Questions
When the second module is being connected, does my team need to vacate the first module or stop working?
No. Your team continues working in the first module throughout the entire connection day. The joining process — crane placement of the second module, bolting at the shared wall frame, and doorway fitting — takes place on the exterior and the shared wall only. The first module's interior, power, and access remain undisturbed. Most teams complete a normal working day while the second module is connected alongside them.
What happens at the join line between two connected modules — is there a gap, a corridor, or a doorway?
The shared wall panel between two joined modules is removed on site and a standard doorway fitted in its place. The exterior connection is sealed with a weather strip — no external gap, no rain ingress. From inside, the two units feel like one continuous office floor.
Does each module carry its own electrical board, or do joined modules share one?
Each module has its own independent MCB board, wired and tested at our factory. When two modules connect, the boards can be cross-linked at the shared wall to run from a single incoming supply. Both boards remain individually switchable.
Can I separate the two modules and move them to different locations after they have been joined for a year?
Yes. The bolted steel-to-steel connection is fully reversible. Separating two modules takes three to five hours on site. Each module returns to standalone function with its original door, exterior wall panel, and weather sealing restored. Separation and relocation are quoted as a separate service.
Tell us your current team size, the city where you need the office, and when you want to be operational. We will recommend the right module count and send you a floor plan with pricing within 24 hours.
