Portable cabin with toilet 20×10 ft, elevated view, relocatable room with one attached washroom by SAMAN Portable

20×10 ft: the everyday self-contained size

Our most-ordered with-toilet size: a comfortable 200 sq ft main room with one partitioned washroom, moved as a single plumbed unit. The room takes a bed and desk, or a consultation setup, while the washroom keeps its own door and vent. It is the default when one room must work and stay on its own: rural postings, project stays, caretaker residences. MS and FRP shells carry the same layout; the material changes durability, not the plan. Compare it against the 20×12 if the stay runs beyond a season, the wider room earns its keep in comfort.

Product Overview

Detailed information about Portable Cabin with Toilet

Portable Cabin with Toilet: Self-Contained Living and Sanitation, Delivered

A portable cabin with toilet from SAMAN is a single factory-built unit combining a living or working space with an integrated toilet facility: one delivery, one water connection, complete self-contained accommodation for rural, residential, and remote deployments across India.

A room and a washroom in one unit: built to move

A SAMAN portable cabin with toilet is a single factory-built cabin: a usable room at one end and one washroom partitioned off at the other, delivered plumbed and ready. It is one unit, not a toilet block. The room is the point, and the attached washroom means the space works on its own without a separate sanitation build. Because it is a portable cabin first, the whole unit lifts on its integrated MS lifting lugs, travels on a flatbed and re-sites at the next location, sanitation included.

MS or FRP: choosing the material

The first choice is the material, because it decides how long the unit stays and how hard the site is. MS (mild steel, corrugated) is the durable, relocatable standard. A welded steel shell built for repeated lifts and long service. FRP (smooth fibre-reinforced panel) is lighter and easy to clean, suited to hygiene-sensitive or shorter-duration use. Both carry the same single-washroom layout; the material changes the shell, not the concept.

How the washroom fits: one partitioned washroom at one end

The washroom is created by a partition wall inside the shell, giving a private WC and washbasin at one end and the main room at the other. It is a single washroom for the unit, sized on the approved drawing so the main room stays usable. This is what separates a portable cabin with toilet from a standalone toilet or a multi-door toilet block: here, the sanitation serves the room it is attached to.

Plumbing: site-connected or self-contained

Choose how the washroom is served. Site-connected ties into an existing water and drainage point. Bio-digester / self-contained lets the unit run where there is no municipal water or sewer, the tank and system are built in. Either way, the connections are designed to be disconnected and reconnected, so the unit can be moved without abandoning its plumbing.

Where a room-with-washroom is the right unit

The self-contained layout suits deployments where a room needs its own sanitation and may later move: a staffed rural room or clinic space, a residential or construction-phase room during a build, a remote site room where crews stay, or an event room that needs a private washroom. In each case it is a cabin with an attached washroom, placed, used, and re-sited as one unit, not a public toilet installation.

Moving a plumbed unit: the practical checklist

This is where the "portable" in portable cabin with toilet earns its place. Before a move: isolate and drain the water supply, safely disconnect the waste line (or pump out and seal the bio-digester per its instructions), and cap the service points. Lift, transport and re-level on a prepared base at the new site, then reconnect water and waste and check the WC, basin and vent. Planning base and access at both ends keeps a plumbed unit reusable for years.

Price: what the figure includes

Prices are ex-GST for the base specification of each size; 18% GST is added, and plumbing beyond the standard package and freight to your site are quoted separately. What moves your final number: size, material (MS or FRP), plumbing type (site-connected or bio-digester), interior fit-out and finish, and delivery distance from our Bangalore (South) or Greater Noida (North) unit. Send your size, material, plumbing choice and location for an itemised quotation.

Delivery and installation across India

Every unit is factory-built and delivered ready to use, dispatched from Bangalore for South India and Greater Noida for the North. Our team offloads and positions the unit on your prepared base and completes the site connection; most units are usable shortly after they land. When you relocate later, we can help arrange the transport.

How this differs from a standalone toilet and our other cabins

If you need sanitation only, a standalone toilet unit rather than a room with an attached washroom, see our standalone site sanitation units. If you need a general relocatable room or office with no washroom, see our move-and-reuse cabin range. This page is the single unit that combines a usable room and one attached washroom, and moves as one.

Why buy from SAMAN

We manufacture in-house at our own Bangalore and Greater Noida units: you deal with the maker, not a reseller. SAMAN POS India Private Limited is ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certified, NSIC-enlisted, DPIIT (Startup India) recognised, Udyam-registered and GST-registered, with 500+ projects delivered across India. Structural warranty is 5–10 years, confirmed at quotation.

How is the washroom arranged inside a portable cabin with toilet?

One washroom is partitioned off at one end of the cabin, with its own door, a WC and washbasin, and a vent. The rest of the unit stays as usable room. It is a single attached washroom for the unit, sized on the approved drawing, not a block of cubicles.

Can it run where there is no municipal water or drainage?

Yes, with the bio-digester / self-contained option: the tank and system are built in, so the unit works off-grid. Where a mains point exists, the site-connected option ties into it instead.

Should I choose MS or FRP?

MS (corrugated steel) is the durable, relocatable standard for longer service and repeated moves; FRP (smooth panel) is lighter and easy to clean for hygiene-sensitive or shorter-duration use. Both use the same single-washroom layout.

How is a plumbed unit disconnected and moved without rebuilding it?

Isolate and drain the water supply, disconnect the waste line (or pump out and seal the bio-digester), cap the service points, then lift the whole unit onto a flatbed. At the new site it is re-levelled on a prepared base and the water and waste are reconnected.

What base and access do I need for delivery and a later move?

A flat, level, load-bearing surface (compacted ground, concrete apron or plinth), plus room for a delivery truck and, where used, a crane. Confirm route width and clearance for both placement and future relocation.

Can two units be placed together for more room?

Yes. Units can be set side by side to add room area while each keeps its own attached washroom and still lifts and moves individually; the layout is planned on the approved drawing.

Technical Specifications

Detailed technical information and features

A portable cabin with toilet is the same steel cabin platform with one attached washroom partitioned at one end. The specification below is the shared SAMAN standard; the with-toilet build adds a partition wall, a compact washroom with its own door and vent, and the supply/waste points, all inside the single relocatable shell: one unit, room plus washroom, that still lifts and moves as a portable cabin (it is not a multi-cubicle toilet block).
