Wall Sheets — PVC, UV Marble, Fluted and WPC Panels, Compared Honestly
Search for a wall sheet in India and the results will happily sell you five different products under one name — without ever mentioning that they are different. A PVC wall panel, a UV marble sheet, a fluted louver panel, a PVC foam board and a WPC board are five separate materials with five different jobs, and the seller who blurs them is hoping you will not ask. We manufacture and supply the full family, so this page does what the marketplaces will not: it puts all five side by side, tells you which room each belongs in, what each honestly cannot do — and only then asks for your enquiry.

What is a wall sheet?
A wall sheet is a rigid decorative panel — most commonly PVC-based — fixed over an existing wall or frame to give a finished surface without paint, plaster, tiles or wallpaper. The appeal is practical, not just visual: installation is dry (adhesive or screws, no mason, no curing days), the surface is waterproof and wipe-clean, termites have nothing to eat, and a dated or damaged wall disappears in an afternoon. What one buyer means by "wall sheet" and what another means can be completely different products, though — which is why the comparison below, not any single product pitch, is the right place to start.
The five wall-sheet families — one honest table
| Family | What it is | Standard size | Choose it when | Skip it when |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PVC wall panel | Hollow/cellular interlocking panel, printed or laminated face | 10 in × 9.75 ft panels (6 mm) · 10 in × 9.5–10 ft (8 mm) | Budget cover for walls and ceilings — bedrooms, offices, shops, rental rooms | You want a seamless large-sheet look — panel joints show as lines |
| UV marble sheet | Rigid PVC sheet with UV-coated marble-print face, high gloss | 8×4 ft, 3 mm / 5 mm | Marble look on a sheet budget — feature walls, receptions, kitchens, dry bathroom walls | The wall takes direct sun all day or hard knocks — gloss shows both |
| Fluted / louver panel | Linear-ribbed decorative PVC profile (the "charcoal louver" look) | 6–12 in wide × 8–10 ft, 20 mm profile | TV walls, feature strips, front-desk and café walls — depth and shadow lines | Full-room coverage on a budget — per-sq-ft cost is the highest of the PVC families |
| PVC foam board | Solid rigid foam-core PVC sheet (Celuka skin) | 8×4 ft, 6 mm / 12 mm | Partitions, furniture backing, signage-grade flat surfaces that may be painted or laminated | You want a finished décor face out of the box — foam board is the base, not the look |
| WPC board | Wood-plastic composite — the densest, most screw-friendly board | 8×4 ft, 6 / 12 / 18 mm | Wet-area partitions, door frames, heavy-duty walls where screws must hold hard | Pure décor on a budget — you would be paying for strength you do not need |
The one-line summary we give buyers on the phone: PVC panel for coverage, UV marble for the look, louver for the feature wall, foam board for fabrication, WPC for strength. Each family's own page carries its full specs; this hub exists so you pick the right page.

Which wall sheet for which room
This is the question no marketplace listing answers, so here it is by room. Living room and TV wall: fluted louver panels for the feature wall, PVC panels or UV marble for the surrounding walls — the depth-plus-flat combination is the standard premium look. Kitchen: UV marble sheet — the gloss face wipes clean of oil and masala stains that destroy paint; keep sheet edges away from open flame (limitation section below). Bathrooms and wet areas: UV marble or PVC panels on dry and splash walls work well; for partitions that get properly wet, WPC board is the honest answer. Bedrooms and rental rooms: PVC wall panels — the lowest cost per covered foot, and ceilings can match. Offices, clinics, shops: UV marble for client-facing walls, PVC panel for the rest — most commercial fit-outs mix exactly these two. Site offices and portable cabins: the same sheets we fit in our own cabin interiors — which is where our guidance comes from, not a catalogue.
Wall sheet designs — what the design families actually are
"Wall sheet design" is a bigger search than most products get, and the honest answer is that designs group into five families: marble prints (white, black-gold, onyx and stone patterns on UV marble sheets), wood grains (walnut, teak, oak tones on PVC panels and louvers), linear/fluted (the louver profile itself is the design — shadow lines, not prints), solids and textiles (plain whites, greys, fabric-look faces for offices), and 3D/feature prints on select PVC panels. Two buying rules keep design honest: pick the design on a physical sample or a real photo, never a screen render, because gloss and grain read differently in room light; and confirm the design is a printed/laminated face on the sheet, not a film pasted after — the first lasts, the second peels. Exact design counts per family are confirmed with the quotation.

What walls they go on — substrates and fixing, stated plainly
Wall sheets earn their keep at installation, and the rules are short. On plastered brick/concrete walls: synthetic adhesive direct to a dry, dust-free wall — the everyday method; screws only where the wall is uneven. Over old tiles: yes — UV marble and PVC panels go straight over sound old tiles with adhesive, which is why bathroom and kitchen renovations love them; loose tiles must come off first. On plywood, MDF, gypsum, cement board: adhesive or screws, fabricator's choice — foam board and WPC take screws best. On metal frames and in our cabins: self-drilling screws to the frame, the same method our factory uses. The one preparation rule that decides the result: the wall must be dry and level within reason — sheets follow the wall, so a badly bowed wall shows through any sheet. Trims, corners and end profiles are quoted as visible line items so the finished edges look factory-made, not site-improvised.
What a wall sheet is NOT — read this before you buy anything
Half the "wall sheet" market's disappointment comes from wrong-product purchases, so here are the boundaries we state upfront. A wall sheet is not wallpaper — wallpaper is a pasted paper/vinyl roll, cheaper but neither rigid nor washable the same way. It is not cement board — that is a structural construction sheet under tiles and cladding, a different aisle entirely. It is not ACP — aluminium composite belongs on shopfronts and facades. We do not deal in FRP/fibre sheets for walls or anything else. And decorative sheets are not insulation: if the wall itself needs to be an insulated, load-bearing sandwich — cold rooms, cabin shells, clean rooms — the correct product is insulated PUF wall panels, which we also manufacture, and we will tell you when your requirement is that instead of décor.

The honest limitations — every family has them
No ranking page for this product writes this section; buyers deserve it anyway. Heat and flame: all five families are thermoplastic-based — fine behind a TV, wrong directly behind a gas stove or around a fireplace; keep clearances and use tile in flame zones. Sunlight: on walls that take hard direct sun all day, budget prints can fade — UV-coated faces exist precisely for this, and we will say plainly which face your wall needs. Impact: hollow PVC panels dent under hard knocks — corridors and kids' rooms do better with 8 mm panels, foam board or WPC. Gloss shows everything: UV marble's mirror face is its selling point and its maintenance duty — fingerprints and scratches show more than on matte. Joints exist: panels join at visible lines, 8×4 sheets join at trims — a seamless 20-foot wall is a render, not a product. Known limits, honestly fixed, beat surprises after payment.
What decides the price
Family first — PVC panels start the range at ₹55/sq ft ex-GST (6 mm) and ₹76 (8 mm); UV marble sheets run ₹95 (3 mm) and ₹131 (5 mm); fluted louver profiles ₹113; PVC foam board ₹68–₹121 by thickness; WPC board ₹80–₹194 from 6 to 18 mm. After family: thickness, design tier, quantity, trims and adhesive count, and delivery distance. Every SAMAN quotation states fixed ex-GST rates with GST, transport, unloading and accessories as separate visible lines — the same fixed-rate policy as every product we sell. Full rate detail lives on each family's own page.

Delivery, warranty and quotation
Wall-sheet warranty: 5–10 years, confirmed in writing at quotation. Dispatch from Bangalore (South) and Greater Noida (North/NCR) in 3–5 working days standard — Delivery Policy; returns per the Refund & Return Policy. Send wall dimensions (or just room photos), the room type and the look you want; the quotation returns family, sheet count, trims and adhesives as visible line items.
Why buy wall sheets from SAMAN
Because we sell all five families, we have no reason to push the one on the shelf — the comparison above is the same one our quotation team uses. Because these sheets finish the interiors of our own portable cabins and prefab buildings, the fixing guidance is our factory's practice, not copied catalogue text. And because the quotation is fixed-rate and itemised, the price you compare is the price you pay. Start from the family your room needs — the PVC wall sheet and UV marble sheet pages carry the full specs — or send the requirement raw and we will map it for you.

Frequently asked questions
What is a wall sheet used for?
Finishing walls without paint, plaster, tiles or wallpaper — homes, offices, shops, clinics and cabins. The sheet fixes dry over the existing wall (adhesive or screws), gives a washable waterproof face, and turns a damaged or dated wall into a finished one in a day.
Which wall sheet is best?
Best is per-room, not per-brand: PVC panels for budget coverage, UV marble for a premium glossy look, fluted louvers for feature walls, foam board for fabrication, WPC where strength and screws matter. The comparison table above is the two-minute version; each family's page has the full case.
Are wall sheets waterproof?
The PVC-based families are — water wipes off the face, and termites get nothing to eat. The honest nuance: waterproof face is not the same as a soak-proof joint, so for genuinely wet partitions we recommend WPC board, and we say so before you buy.
Can wall sheets be fixed over old tiles?
Yes — over sound, well-bonded tiles, UV marble sheets and PVC panels fix with adhesive directly, no tile demolition. That single fact is why they dominate kitchen and bathroom renovations. Loose or hollow-sounding tiles must come off first.
What is the size of a wall sheet?
UV marble, foam board and WPC come as 8×4 ft sheets (32 sq ft). PVC wall panels come as interlocking planks around 10 inches wide and 9.5–10 ft long. Fluted louver profiles run 6–12 inches wide and 8–10 ft long. Send wall dimensions and the quotation returns the exact sheet and trim count.
What do wall sheets cost?
From ₹55/sq ft ex-GST for 6 mm PVC wall panels up to ₹194/sq ft for 18 mm WPC board, by family and thickness — the price section above lists every family's fixed rate. GST, transport and accessories are separate visible lines on the quotation.
Are wall sheets better than paint or plywood?
Different jobs: against paint, a sheet costs more upfront but survives water, stains and scrubbing that repainting cannot. Against plywood-plus-laminate, PVC families are termite-free and waterproof at comparable or lower finished cost. Against tiles, sheets install dry in hours. We will tell you when paint is honestly enough.
Do wall sheets catch fire?
They are thermoplastic — they do not belong directly behind gas stoves or around fireplaces, and we design around flame zones with tile or clearances. Away from direct flame, they behave like any interior plastic finish. Fire-behaviour queries for specific projects are answered per application at quotation.
How long does installation take?
A standard bedroom feature wall is hours, not days — dry fixing, no curing. Full-room and commercial jobs scale by area and trim work. Installation is quoted separately when you want our team to do it.
What is the HSN code for wall sheets?
HSN 3925 — plastic builders' ware, the same code as our PVC and uPVC roofing sheets. The applicable GST rate is stated on every SAMAN quotation and invoice so your purchase entry matches the document exactly.
