It suits contractors who need the highest bed count per rupee and manage the hall as one space. The hall comes in six sizes, 60x24 ft G+1 up to 120x24 ft G+2, sleeping 58 to 216 workers a building. The hall is priced ex-factory on one per-square-foot rate, delivered in 7 to 21 working days with zoned lighting and emergency circuits fitted.

Why choose the shed over the room block
The shed puts every bed into one open hall per floor, which is the cheapest way to house a large crew and by far the easiest arrangement to supervise as a single space. Fire exits, zoned lighting circuits and high-level ventilation are all sized for open-hall occupancy rather than for individual rooms. Choose it when bed count per rupee matters more than room privacy.
Crews that need lockable individual rooms are better served by the Labor Hutments room block, and the full worker housing range shows where each build fits.

At 120 ft the two-floor hall reaches 115 to 144 beds, the capacity class most big projects order first. The extra length goes entirely into bed rows, not circulation, which is what keeps cost per bed the lowest on this page. Emergency lighting and multiple exits are laid out for full-hall occupancy. Price for 5,760 square feet: Rs 39,39,840 ex-GST. When crews rotate seasonally, the open hall re-allocates overnight with no room-by-room administration at all. The labour shed is built around a single idea: house the most workers in one supervised space for the least money. Every floor is one clear hall with no internal walls, facing bed rows split by an aisle that runs end to end. A light portal frame keeps the span open, PPGI cladding keeps weather out, and ventilator banks up high keep air crossing the hall without fans fighting the heat alone.
Why an Open Hall Works
Because the hall is one space, running it is simple in ways room blocks cannot match. From the doorway one supervisor counts every bed. Cleaning is one crew, one pass. Moving beds between crews is a list change, not a room change. Exits, emergency lighting and zoned circuits are engineered for open-hall occupancy from the first drawing, which is what separates a compliant shed from a shed-shaped problem.

The Structure Behind the Hall
A portal or truss frame in light steel carries the clear span, so no post interrupts the bed rows. Double-slope or single-slope PPGI roofing sheds rain fast, an RCC slab is preferred under high occupancies, and the cladding takes an insulated upgrade where summers demand it. Who Chooses the Shed
Contractors housing large homogeneous crews on civil packages, where beds per rupee is the whole equation and the crew is managed as shifts rather than gangs. Seasonal workforces suit it too: the hall re-assigns beds overnight, free of room administration. If your site needs lockable rooms instead, the hutment room block serves that brief; if the housing must travel between projects, the relocatable camp build does; and the worker housing range weighs all three on one page.
Shed Pricing
One rate, Rs 684 per square foot ex-GST, across all six sizes. No premium appears at the larger entries, so cost per bed actually falls as the hall grows. Freight and any fit-out are itemised separately on the quotation, which arrives fixed within 48 hours.
From Order to Occupied
Fabricated components leave the factory 7 to 21 working days after drawings are approved, and the hall stands in days on a prepared base. Staged handover is normal: the ground hall opens while the upper floor is still being fitted. Structure is warranted 5 years, finishing 1 year, as standard.

Is the shed hot in summer?
High-level ventilators move air continuously, and insulated cladding is available where the climate needs it.

Every SAMAN cabin is delivered factory-direct from our Bengaluru (South) or Greater Noida (North) unit on an open trailer, with delivery and installation across South and North India in 7–21 working days. Cabins up to 20 ft travel on a 20 ft open trailer; 30 ft and 40 ft cabins travel on a 40 ft open trailer. Unloading by crane or manual placement is arranged based on your site access and confirmed at quotation.
